DDC Consulting Group Inc. is an art appraisal and  consulting service that provides appraisal, advisory and resource services to connect individuals, collectors, architects, designers, developers, institutions, and businesses to the visual fine arts.

Diane Dinkins-Carr, Founder and President of DDC Consulting Group Inc., formed the company due to her love for art. She was introduced to the arts at a very early age. With both parents in the visual arts and very active in the art community, she had no other choice but to study the fine arts. She received her B.A. in Art and  Design from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a year of graduate studies in Urban Planning and Policy.

Diane has appraised over 2000 pieces of African-American art, curated over 50 art exhibitions, coordinated more than 20 auctions, designed, developed, and implemented art programs, seminars, workshops, lectures, and made acquisitions for individuals, collectors, and businesses.

Diane is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) American Society of Appraisers, and an Accredited Member of the International Society of Appraisers. She is in complaint with USPAP (Uniform of Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice).

Diane is active in the art community and instrumental in keeping the legacy alive of the country’s oldest African-American art center, South Side Community Art Center, where she served as a member, President, and Board Chair for more than 30 years.
